Did you spot that the wonderful Jarvis Pickle are going to be one of our street food vendors
again this year?
These purveyors of pastry pleasures are based in Eyemouth in the Scottish Borders, and make
some of the finest pies around (we’re not just saying that - the amount of awards they’ve won since they set up shop a few years ago is now into the double-digits!).
They specialise in traditional fillings with a twist - from the classic beef & ale and chicken
& leek, to cullen skink and moroccan lamb, to veggie options like cauliflower curry and
spinach & goats cheese - no matter your tastes or dietary requirements, there’s bound to be
something to suit everyone.
The guys behind Jarvis Pickle are passionate about food - all pies are made from scratch and
filled with the highest quality fresh and natural ingredients, and they even prepare the
gorgeous buttery, flaky pastry in small batches so that all pies are equally yummy.
If you’re based in Edinburgh or the Lothians, and you think you’ve never heard of Jarvis
Pickle, think again - their pies are served at pubs, bars, events, farmers markets and food
festivals across the region, and even throughout the UK! If you haven’t had one yet, you’re
missing out.
